Original archive (xargonreg.zip, 1,358k) - The main download file above (DOSBOX_XARGONREG.ZIP) is pre-configured to work DOSBox. This file, xargonreg.zip, is the original and may require installation / setup.
Xargon Shareware (0xargon.zip, 547k) - The shareware version of Xargon.
Xargon is a side-scrolling platform / action / adventure game from Epic, it looks like it uses a modified version of the engine used in Jill of the Jungle. Nice graphics, mostly solid control (it can feel a bit "heavy" at times) and SoundBlaster sound effects. There's even something of a plot to the game, involving an archaeologist and travelling to a strange new world. Basically if you liked Jill, and are looking for a similar sort of game, download this one. (Although originally shareware, the original author Allen Pilgrim has released the full game for free. Source)
