War-8}! is a strangely-named Tank Wars / Scorched Earth / Gorillas type two-player war game. The author named it that way to differentiate it from other "war" named games and also because it looks like a smiley face ... Anyways there are some differences here between this and other similar tank games. First, each player gets five tanks, all of which must be destroyed for the opposing player to win. (Only one tank gets to shoot per player per turn.) Second, you can choose from one of three different weapons each turn, each with different properties. Third, setting shot angle, power, and sometimes fuel level is done using active, moving gauges, so it requires good timing as well as careful planning.
