Original archive (tunneler.zip, 21k) - The main download file above (DOSBOX_TUNNELER.ZIP) is pre-configured to work DOSBox. This file, tunneler.zip, is the original and may require installation / setup.
Tunneler is a simple 2-player (on the same computer) tank battle game. It's somewhat similar to the original "Tanks" game, the object is to move your tank around and destroy your opponent's tank. The twist here is that the players must tunnel through the ground to create paths to their opponents before they can attack. It's an interesting twist, although the rest of the game is not particularly remarkable in terms of its presentation or gameplay. It has been remade several times over the years for different platforms, see the official website for information.
