Street Rod is a car-tuning and street racing game which takes place in the early 60's. You buy a car, fix it up, then take it out to popular 60's hangouts and race it against other people's hot rides. If you win, you'll win money to upgrade your car, and maybe eventually beat the "toughest hot rodder in town" known as "The King". The game is fun and mostly light-hearted with decent graphics for a pre-90's game. The game was released for free by its original developers (or some of them?); this SE version includes additional content. Download other versions at the official Street Rod website.
