First Expedition is a nautical adventure / simulation game where the goal is to collect some magical artifacts. Described by its author as a "real-time first-person adventure" (which doesn't seem to be an accurate description) this CGA-mode game seems to have a lot of gameplay and detail to it, like changing weather, battles, and interactions with NPCs, but it's also rather difficult to get into, with a large variety of keyboard commands required. At least you can press H in-game to get a helpful list. Probably for those who are a looking for an in-depth adventure game with a sea-faring vibe.
