FANS (I'm not even sure of the "official" name, that's just the name of the executable file) is a demo of a graphics library intended for DOS game development. It's a simple space shooter where you shoot enemies ("fans"?) and rocks for points, and also collect coins. The game goes on forever (unlimited lives) and never changes, so there is no end-game. It's purpose is to demo the smooth-scrolling EGA sprite library, and it does a decent job of that. I'm pretty sure I played this back in the 90's at some point so even though it's not terribly fun it's still worth preserving, someone out there is looking for this!
