Airlift Rescue is a remake of the classic computer / arcade console game Choplifter, as the author themselves notes. The gameplay is similar, as your goal is to rescue a total of 64 hostages (maximum 16 at a time). You fly your helicopter right to left to rescue them while avoiding or destroying the enemy terrorist weapons of destruction. The game plays smoothly although the scrolling is a bit awkward, happening when your chopper is a little too close to the edge making it difficult to see what's coming ahead.
