to actually make this thread interesting
it was delayed because of a exposed persons ass being shown on a error message in the editor included with the game.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Why would they want to remove that? An ass on an error message is the funniest thing ever.

Think about this:
It's ok to kill plenty people/creatures in Halo, and I mean P-L-E-N-T-Y, but a half naked ass? Oh no !! That's shocking.
Yeah yeah, whatever.

Well it's not the actual nudity that's the problem, but it's the gore level of the naked ass that sickens the testers at MS!

Anyway, the game is vista version only and that sucks because a lot of people are still using xp.

Well then do what Microsoft wants you to do: Buy Vista or the 360!

It's probably just a DX10 issue... and there are a few alternatives.
DX 9.0L
Alky

Yeh, but common sense tells me not to even think about installing 9.0L(assuming that I get myself a new PC anytime soon)
As for Alky, their servers seem to be busy at the moment, will try later tho'!

It's probably better than installing Vista.

Or I could live without some games at least until couple years pass after 9.0 L is released!

Or don't do this:
Simply download a gamers Vista that is easily findable on the WaReZ sites.
Ripped from everything you don't need, and that's plenty ! Leaves one (1!) install CD , yes: 1 CD and perfect for gaming (not 'online' of course). 64-bit and darned faster than XP.
Ideal for dual boot, and multigaming via LAN.
You're a bad person if you should do that.
As you won't do that, I also don't have to tell you to be carefull, several warezed Vistas are worthless, even dangerous, so know what you're doing.

I want vista but right now I don't have the right pc for it.
So I think is a bad decision this vista only version of the game; they should release an xp version at last this year.

DUDE! You haven't seen the sales of Vista in Romania... it's almost like people actually think Vista's good!

Probably subliminal government threats, and by "subliminal" I mean "they hold a gun to your head"

Yeah, that and there's another thing(tho' not related to why people buy Vista):
If you buy a new PC(2.6 GHz, 2GBs RAM, 128 Video, $1000) you also get "Vista Home edition"! But that's not the problem, the problem is that, in case you're smart enough to ditch Vista and install a different OS, it
VOIDS the warranty on the pc(normally 24 months).
