This strikes me as odd... but I usually read 200-300 books a year. I'm a bit of a nerd that way.

(And yes, I've read most of Hunter Thomson's books)

With the exception of the GooseBumps series and maybe 2 or 3 others during my childhood, the majority of novels I read were because I had to do it as part of school.

I do read a fair bit, but it's primarily stuff like Wikipedia articles and other computer text, a newspaper every now and then, etc.
