Anybody here tried playing any Koei games under Win XP? I used to be able to run both Uncharted Waters 1 and 2 under Win 98, but after moving to XP, UC1 encounters a "Disk error - hit CR" message upon running, and vdm sound just doesn't work with UC2 -- no sound but at least that one's playable :cry:

Any help to get UC1 to run, and UC2 to play sounds would be appreciated.

No sound :huh: I missed that music. Can somebody please tell me how to get it to play sound in winxp...

WEll If sound doesnt work in VDMsound I suggest that you try Dosbox dosbox.sourceforge.net

has detailed instructions for Dosbox :)
