Hi i need help in Golden axe (1990 i think).
when u play the "Dual" (on the bridge), after few rounds u r asked "insert disk 2 and press enter". i downloaded the game from many different web sites but i couldn't find a version that include disk 2 so i would be able to continue the game.
Can someone help me with that??????
thanks!!!!!

Fist of all: Hey folks I'm back (Finaly) <sighs>
Second of all If you'd mind not writing more than 90% of your post with large
and third of all: try using DOSBox mount a: with the game's directory
abandoned?

Well, I haven't posted on these forums for over 5 years.
And what is a better way to come back than to resurrect a 5+ year thread with some new relevant information.
Apparently, one clever person reverse-engineered the DOS version of Golden Axe, found the
bug that leads to the "Insert Disk 2" in Duel mode and fixed it!
The instructions are here:
http://www.reteam.org/papers/e76.pdf
I tried it and it worked like a charm.

I think this should be more appropriate in the Get Games to Work section.

I'm sorry but
Golden Axe, to the best of my knowledge, is not a freeware game.

And being an arcade license still being leveraged and generating cashflow in new console games and official emulators, never will be in our lifetimes!
