In Clyde's Adventure, the sound comes out of the crappy PC speaker but not the regular speakers. I selected the sound and music to be "on" in the in-game options menu but it still doesn't work. I remember on my older computer that was not Windows XP(I can't remember exactly what it was)
the sound and music worked fine. How do I get the sound and music to work on teh sound blaster(regular speakers)?

I’m not sure, but I’d think there should be an option of some sort in an in-game menu or possibly a setup.exe or similar.

Clyde uses adlib when enabled.
To get music through your regular speakers in Clyde:
in the main screen hit G, this opens the game option menu, turn music on/off by hitting M in this option menu, you also can use a joystick ...etcetera .. leave this menu by hitting ESC.
That's all.

Dos games sounds

This may help you solve DOS game sound issues. Our old PCs had a sound port built into the motherboard. This gave us the DOS sounds that came from the PC speaker. Newer motherboards were not built with this sound capability because the makers tried to save space and didn't think anyone needed the DOS sounds. Then they discovered that us DOS gamers missed the sounds and so much newer boards came back with the sound capability built back into the motherboard. This is how it happened to me: my Win 3.1 computer had sounds. my Win95 had sounds. My Win98 didn't. My WinME (don't remember), WinXP the sounds are back. Hope this helps.
