I want to learn how to do it, but as it is, I'm a skiing guy only..... Someday though, I'll snowboard.

I’m sure I could do it if I tired or at least it wouldn’t take me that long to learn, but there is a distinct lack of snow around here it being the end of summer and all.

Trying to learn, but with no snow, its kinda difficult. I think I'm gonna stick with skiing though.

I've never tried Snowboarding. In fact I have never played with snow before. The closest in getting snow was once was I felt snow flakes going up the mountain. However, the snow flake melted as soon as they touched the skin. There's an alternate similar thing that I've tried i.e. Sand Taboganing. It's like sitting on a long skateboard without wheels and sliding down a sandy slope. Playing with sand can be fun too as long as it doesn't get in one's eyes.
I'm sure Wally would have done Sand Taboganing too.

Hey, snow is awesome. It's the cold that comes with it that sucks.

This is very true.
I should consider myself lucky that I have thick skin with very warm blood.
I can run nude in -20 C weater and, well, hardly get more than a shiver [not spoken from experience. >_>]
Anyways, as is evident by my new avatar, I've gone snowboarding today.
AND I LOVED IT!
Iv'e gone skiing before, but BOY am I way better at snowboarding than skiing! It was awesome fun!
Julie, I'd go boardin' with ya. heh. And bring Sinister, he needs a good Canadian education on snow.
Checkmate, HappyHarvick, Ya comin' to Sinister's education of the Canadian Way?

Quoted for truth. At least in my case.
Well,a fter a LONG time without any snow [#&(T^$G#%!] Alberta finally got an average sized dump, but far inferior to other places..... I would SO visit Newfoundland!

Meh, I'd be good without snow. I don't do much outside with it around. I prefer no snow and warm weather because then I can go running, biking, rollerblading and skateboarding. Num num.
Skating is ok, but I don't have good skates.
And I can't afford to travel and rent skis and whatever...
As for teaching Sinister in the canadian way, yeah it'd be sweet....
