DOS Games Discussion

I downloaded the Prince of Perisa 4D/Prince 1/Prince of Perisa 1 game from the dosgames archive, but i'm stuck on the first level. I cannot find the sword anywhere. Do i already have it? Or is it hidden somewhere? Any help would seriously appreciated, as the walkthrough's i've found seem to have a different Level 1 to the game that i have.

It should be at the bottom left hand corner of the map. There is a way to complete the first level without the sword but it requires really good timing and a lot of luck. So my advice is just keep looking for the sword., like I said it should be in the bottom left hand corner of the map.

What you can do instead of getting the sword is getting the guard to follow into the first room after you drop down. Once he passes the torch, climb up and move to the next room. Find the loos tile in the celing and back track to the first room. Then fall down and run away from the guard!! You get a sword automatically in the next level.

Well that's another way, much easier then the other way I knew. Thanks for the info jediman71.

Thats the way for prince of persia 1. For prince of persia 4D there also is a way. Let me ask you this, do you know where the exit door is? If so, you could have jumped and go through the door fast before the guard gets you, but looks like you don't. Hold on until I get a map of level 1 and I'll show you. Or ask JKSM, who's an expert at this stuff.
