Im looking for an old game i used to play quite a long time ago.
Prob 15 or 20 yrs ago.
It was a WW2 navy battle game.
It was 1 or 2 player
You would take turns telling each ship what to do on the next turn ( who to fire on or where to go) then it would run.
Any help would be appreciated
thanks

I don't know the game you're looking for (I never really played any naval battle games) but here's Mobygames.com's list of all DOS games in the 'Simulation / Naval' genre:
http://www.mobygames.com/browse/games/d ... ion/naval/
Hopefully its on that list. Also, since its such a long time ago, could it have possibly been on another platform, such as C64? If so you may want to check the C64 etc categories. Anything else that you remember about the game may help someone here identify it, so posting any details (even things seemingly obscure) may help
Good luck finding it!

Look on Underdogs, I remember playing a game similar to the one you described a few years ago but I have no idea what it was called. Try looking around in the War & Strategy sections.

Probably either The Grandest Fleet or Lost Admiral

The other possibility could be the Great Naval Battles series by SSI back in the day. I remember purchasing these because I'm a history buff besides being a gamer

I knew I’d seen something like what you were describing on Underdogs, infact I’m sure I even downloaded it at one stage. But then again I’ve downloaded hundreds of games from Underdogs. Oh well glad I could help.
