old racing game but i can't remember name

You would buy a junk car from the paper and take it to your garage and fix it up. 3 kinds of races and you can even race for pink slips. obsticle coures or country road race. Any help would be appreciated.

That there sounds like Street Rod. The Pink Slip or money betting is there, the fixing up of your car, etc etc, it's the best I can get from your description.
