DOS Games Discussion

hello everybody,

I would really like some help, please, to get Stunt Island to work on my computer.

I got Stunt Island from here http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?id=1081

I am using Windows XP.

I would like to know, a step-by-step process for installing and USING the game, please.

Plus, do I need to have DOSBox or something like it to play the game?
If so how do I get it to work with DOSbox?

What I tried was unzipping all the files, then Installing it (I think) and i clicked on the Batch file "STUNT" and it starts in that screen with "Action Reel in 15 seconds" and counts down. But EXTREMELY slow. And it does that with any batch file i click on. So I must have done something wrong, or not done something right :p

So, any help would be greatly appreciated.

first thing is first RGB. Get the emulator.

for some reason the top link isn't working. Just DL the second one and
follow the instructions. If you have questions after DLing, post here. Make sure your question is clear.

Also, with WinXP using DOSbox the FPS is really slow. I'm not sure how to fix that. But try right clicking the .bat or .exe file and changing the options in the properties.

yes, i have DOSbox d/l and installed now.

But i don't know how to start up Stunt Island using DOSbox.

I d/l Stunt Island too. I have all the files and whatever comes with the Zip.

So how do I get SI to work using DOSBox?

wow the same problem..I have no way to deal with it...what's the next after DL&install Dosbox...

k ive basicly got the same problem i did all the things in the help forum tho 2 with settin the stuff up and .. goin to program tab , advanced , ... i think im not doin it correctly however plz help me out
also if dosbox works better and more effiecient give some explenations of how to open the file with that program plz for example the file blood.exe how would i open it with that plz reply back someon
