Career sim game (can't remember name)

Hi,
I can't remember the name of a DOS game I'm looking for. Here's a description of the gameplay, perhaps someone can associate it with the title :-)
It was a 2d "career sim" game with the main view showing a cartoonish-style map of a town, with places such as my apartment, a bank, a burger bar, a store etc. The object of the game was to become successful by advancing my "career": working to earn money, taking classes, buying stuff, entertaining myself, resting etc. It was turn-based with each turn (mouse click) representing 1 hour. I could e.g. spend 8 clicks (hours) working at the burger bar to earn some money to take classes (after work, but not too much because my health would fail), to get a promotion to a better job, etc, etc.
Can anyone remember the name of this thing? I played it sometime around 1992 or a bit later. Pleeease, it's killing my brain! :-)
