hey all, I was thinking back on some old school games that i used to play as a child and could not renember the names of them... i was wondering if anybody out there knew the names.

one game you start out in your bedroom, there is a bed, dresser,and a door and you have to type stuff into the game so your character does it, like open the door, or open the dresser, the game kind of remindes me of maniac mansion... the same game play at least but totally different story line and setting

If you could tell us a bit more info about the game ... like, describe the character in the game (was it a kid, adult, was there any distinguishing characteristics about them, like occupation, clothing ...) ... or also the setting/theme for the game might help, or the time period that the game takes place ...
