DOS Games Discussion

I double click on the .exe file, in my case in the folder C:\unzipped\HugoIII\, but I keep getting this error: "The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application." In addition to that version i downloaded, i have it on the original floppy right in the A:\ drive. But i still get that error when i try to run it, or the setup .exe. I already followed one of the faqs that lead me to this forum about optimizing the memory and stuff, but still no luck. What am I doing wrong? And what do I have to do to get it to run?

YOu need a patch with autoexec.nt and config.nt in it

www.dosgames.com/~wally4000/autoconf.zip has the files drop them into system32 and you should be right

Try using DOSbox
