School is almost starting and I really wanna get this working before the 29th!!
I've followed the directions for getting KQ6 to work with VDMsound on Windows XP. It worked EXCEPT there was no background sounds or music, even though speech worked.
So I've just installed DOSbox, and people keep telling me to install the game in DOS box except >>I DON'T KNOW DOS COMMANDS!!<<
I've recently looked at some instructions and have gotten to this random point here:
What do I do from there?
Currently I have installed the King's Quest 6 CDRom already, and I have the following directory:
C:\SIERRA\KQ6CD
In this "KQ6CD" folder there's a bunch of files... that are the game, I guess... but there's also a bunch of similar files in the D:\ CDROM drive folder, and I get mixed up.
Will anyone explain it to non-computer-guru people like me? lol! Thank you so much!

One time I had a Jack and coke and it had a lime in it, And I saw that the lime was floating. That's good news man. Next time I'm on a boat and it capsizes, I'll reach for a lime... I'll be water skiing without a life preserver and people'll say 'What the hell?' and I'll pull out a lime...and a lemon too. I'm saved by the buoyancy of citrus.
