Aladdin - XMS allocation error..

I installed Aladdin properly through the cmd program after reading the readme. But when I try and play the game I get the following error before the game even starts:
XMS allocation error..

Anybody know how to stop this happening so I can play?

Downloaded DOS BOX and it works. NOw just to find a complete version.
