1. reboot in dos mode
2. look for a boot disk on www.bootdisk.com
3. How can you be running Windows 98 AND Xp?

Hi paulg11,

don't use the WinZip "Install Now" feature. Try just extracting the game to a known folder. Then either run the installer or the game's executable from there. It seems to me that your problem is with WinZip trying to install an older game rather than with the game itself.

And kazer? I triple boot Windows here. When I boot up my boot manager (BootItNG is my favourite but it's shareware) offers me a menu listing the following-
DOS 6.22
Windows 3.11
Windows 98lite
Windows XP

I would add more operating systems but I'm poor and, being an honorable person, I pay for my software.

XP's just there for experimentation. I like Windows 98 the best but then it is the ultimate DOS mode game launcher operating system. :D

Yes. Sorry 486, but sometimes DOS just doesn't do.

That's not true, I know two people who have 98 and XP on their same computer. I also know one that has linux, 98, XP, 3.1, and pure DOS. That lucky shit head.

EDIT: Oh, right, I just read this thread through...I guess Proc is a lucky shit head too

i dual boot XP and ME. ME sucks, but it's better than nothing, and since my dad has the password to the pc, i can't do anything about it.

K0: i can ask my dad, he's a Quantum Physicst.

I'd like XP (I really do like it, just not for DOS), 98SE, and Linux.....even though I don't know what Linux is good for :S (this needs a smily, DB, or emmzee if DB can't do it)

I like XP too. I'm getting all my games to run better than on 95, honestly. ROTT with full working sound and I don't even use any emulators or compatibility modes. I couldn't do that on 95!

Not for ROTT. I DO use emulators once in a while, but not all the time.

If you are using WinXP to play a DOS game, you are using an emulator. That's what I meant.
