DOS without a hard disk

Post by Copii »

Good day! Excuse me, but does anybody know, where I can find a free MS-DOS-like operating system for an old PC without a hard disk?

I've searched alot, and the only one that allows changing floppy disk after the boot sequence (and I need that, since not most games don't fit a single floppy together with OS) is some "ExtDOS" ( http://extdos.subs.ru ): it has an Eng. Site, but the all the help is in Russian...

Please help! :shifty:

Yeah, it does. Every version of DOS does. Just when you launch a game that unloads DOS from memory, you will get a "Insert a diskette with COMMAND.COM into drive A" message after you quit it.
