anyone who bought a DOS system...

do u remember the games that were preinstalled with the system? i remember commander keen 4 was installed with it, but there was another side scroller that was installed with it, it had similar graphics to commander keen but they were a little more primitive, and i remember always getting stuck at this waterfall section of the game, any help from anyone as to what this game is? i no its a bad description but think of games that came with the MS-DOS :)

The only games who came included with MSDos were qbasic games, and your limited description doesn't ring a bell.
More probably it was a game included by the PC salesman / manufacturer.
Maybe someone else ?

Just a wild guess: Captain Comic II: Fractured Reality. This is one of the games some sites say is similar to Commander Keen. There happens to be a waterfall in the picture. :P This game is a sequel to The Adventures of Captain Comic.

There was some other platform game (not by Apogee) that I came across while search for something but can't remember what it was. Will let you know if I come across it again.

Sorry but my DOS based system came with at the time, MS-DOS 5 and Windows 3.1. The only reason I had any games to install was that I forked over about $400 for the Creative Labs SB16 + 2x CD-ROM Multimedia Kit :D
Suck it down!
