DOS Games Discussion

Hey ill just get right to it..

I downloaded the file, unzipped it into a folder and everything is fine until i try to run any of the .EXE. I double click setup.exe and it pops up a blank dos window and then closes it, with no other affects.

please help, and thanks in advance.

sorry i forgot to say i am running windows 2000 pro

For this game system specs are also important.

setup need be run first, then the tyrian file, file0001 will not run. it is the game engine.

If your computer is fast, the game engine was written in Turbo Pascal this can cause a runtime error. Is that stated on the screen?

Another problem is if the game files are read only, the game will not work right.

If you run it in dosbox it will work but slow.
