Can't recall the name of an old RPG text game.

Hi,

I liked this forum the best of the ones I've seen. Kudos to the admin(s).

Was happy to see a link to the old DOS Alleycat that helped pass time at work (near to the time I quit back in the early 90s).

I have a non-DOS game name request (sorry, but like I said, this forum was the nicest I found after 2AM). Used to play it on a solaris sparc 5 back in 1998 - its a text based adventure (early RPG). The specific details are fuzzy but here's my iffy recollection (mind you, I didn't have any instructions and stumbled through it).

You are the pilot and you are flying through space. You use simple directional commands to avoid crashing as you spiral down to land your craft on a planet (presumably Earth, I never saw aliens or fantasy creatures). Once you've landed, you can explore the land - you can walk into a a few buildings. You could walk along the beach (swim in a tide pool if the tide was in), explore a cave (think it had ammo or treasure in it) or walk up to the top of a cliff. If you walked in a certain part of a field, you could sometimtes find and eat (coconuts?). Nearish to the water was a gathering (party, maybe a luau)... At different places, you could be attacked. If you eventually wondered into a particular building, you could try to get into an aircraft(?) but the lab was about to collapse so you had a short time to get into it and fly out, else you died.

Wish I could remember the name and find it but if anyone happens to know it, would you please also email me at [email protected]? (Yup, AllIGotWasThisStupidID)

Thank you.
