When I try to play Doom or Heretic on DOSBox, it runs incredibly slow, despite using Ctrl + F12 to boost the speed.

Does anyone know what's wrong? I've increased the Frameskip thing, and it still runs poorly.

Help MMMEEE!!!

The easiest way to play doom / heretic / hexen under XP is to use:

http://www.doomsdayhq.com/

There exiest others , but that's by far the most user-friendly.
Everything is explained there , follow the instructions and you will play doom ,heretic or hexen at high-res.
There also is doom95 that runs under XP.
