A game from 10 years back

I been trying to find this game. I dont remember much. But there is a city ivaded with aliens or sumthing and u run the agency dat is fighting these aliens its very complicated u can upgrade weapons armors. So in generally u go to the location where aliens r sighted and fight them with yr team. And ofcoz yr team members evolve during these fights. I cant rememer the name cuz it was really weird one.

Sounds like one of the Xcom series.

My Favourite is Xcom: terror from the deep, but I don't know much about the others in the series.

I suspect you're looking for X-com Apocalypse, or perhaps X-com UFO defence (I think they're the first and the last games made in the series).
