Football (Soccer) Manager early 90s

I'm trying to locate a game I played alot when I was younger. We did'nt have the original (shame on us.. ;-) ) but we called it BMP Manager, Manager or Football Manager or something. The game was about making a career in the english fotball division system. Starting in the bottom division and working your way to the top.
You only controlled the setup of the players before the match and stuff. The actual matches played themselves. And you could watch if you wanted. Little guys (always blue and red) running around on the pitch. The game only had maybe 20 different goal chance scenarios. So we'd know right away if it would be goal..
Anyone remember this???

I remember it was coded / written by : Werner Krahe / Jens Onnen
It has a german version, and a english version
