i remember playing a game where you adopted a cat or dog and fed it, played with it, fed mice to the cats...

Feed mice? Did the cat eat the mouse?
Is your cat adoption game is one where you let go of a mouse and the cat will chase and pounce on it making the mouse sqweek (it was fun doing that )? You could also tickle the cat on the belly and make it purr, give it toys etc. Then your game could be "Catz". Then are different improve versions Catz2, Catz3, Catz4 & Catz5.
