i am affraid i don't get what's your problem here,
so let's start over again:
1)what pc ?
2)what OS ?
3)what's the error message (if one ?)
4)what's the normal cd drive? (D?E?F?G?.....)
5)have you tried to:
- install directly from your cd?
- in your usual OS and/or DOS?

i have a fujitsu seimens laptop with windows XP installed on it. There is no error message as the trouble I am having is playing theme park on my computer that I bought on disk. I can get downloaded games to work through dosbox by putting them in my C: drive, but cannot get theme park into the C: drive as I cannot install it, there is no way i can install it as when i try to open anything on disk it says "the system file is not suitable for running ms dos and microsoft windows". I do not know if i am clicking the right things as there is nowere were it says install or anything. All i need to know is how to get my game from CD installed onto my computer so I can play it.
Any help greatly appreciated

OK,an.kn ,i will try to help you out off this, the problem seems that your autoexec.nt and config.nt are mess'd up.You find the appropiate files here:
http://www.dosgames.com/~wally4000/autocon.zip
Put those in your windows/system32 folder, should be fixed.

maybee an other trick to get your Theme park installed ,don't know if it's gonna work ,but it's worth the try:
Copy your cd to a HD dir (thempcd or whatever)) and mount the dir into dosbox.Run the install from dosbox. With a little luck the install would'n go search trough the old mscdex(usely don't)and you will be able to install it from the HD dir.Good luck.
