Machines to progress to the next level. all i can remember is the ending;

After you finish the last level youemerge at the top of the building but there is grass and plants and your bosses. The main character had to go roudn each level collecting peices to use to fix the machine ie a pipe.

Please help as i have been driving myself nuts just trying to think of the title!
