I played a game about 10 to 15 years ago in which you have to lead and increasing group of little men out of a puzzle using a variety of tools. It would help if I could at least remember the name of it. HELP!

Sounds like a good guess to me :D

There's a few clones, but lemmings is the original and best

there's a demo there.
If you search enough, you can probably find a windows port of lemmings: I've played that version and it is very good.

Good Luck

There are titles in the Lemmings series. You can download 2 of them from the underdogs - Lemmings 2: The Tribes & The Lemmings Chronicles.
Lemmings game is one of the best and most popular puzzle games. Just a word of caution, if you are going to try other titles. Of all the titles in the Lemmings series, The Lemmings Chronicles is one of the games to run with the most technical problems. The second one with problems is Lemmings Revolution - there is problem getting the sound doesn't work even to the extent that the installation may override some sound files/ drivers causing other programs not to have sound. For the others, they run fine easily fixed with a liitle minor adjustment.

Lemmings was such a popular game that it is available for many game consoles & old PC too.

The windows version (Lemmings for Windows 95) consists Lemmings & Oh No! More Lemmings. It's good because it runs in a windows box. I still prefer the dos versions of these because in full-screen mode the Lemmings look bigger than the windows version. However, with newer machines you need to use Dosbox to run those.

My favourites are still Lemmings, Oh No! More Lemmings & 3D Lemmings.
I better stop here, otherwise I could end up writing an extremely long essay about Lemmings as the above was only a summary. :D

PS. You are as crazy a Lemmings fan as I am you could even try the numerous fan-made levels and also create some yourself.
