I FEEL STUPID WHEN I PLAY WITH DOSBOX

i downloaded a copy of Crusader : No Regret and i have absolutely no idea how to run it. i downloaded DosBox and it has only made me more confused. SOMEONE PLZ be a good samaritan and help me as extensively as possible. start at WinRar if you could. i will love you forever.

It can help to also download the D-fend frontend from the Dosbox site too. It makes setting up the configuration files very easy and allows you to make shortcuts to the games being run with dosbox with no effort.

Crusader is one game where if you get it to run it may still be choppy. It is a very demanding game (when it comes to memory resources). It may need its settings tweeked heavily.

Interesting, according to Dosbox site, Crusader : No Regret is supported 100% by dosbox.

Okay, unzip your game / install it if necessary. Install dosbox and install D-fend. Then run D-fend and follow the instructions in this post on using D-fend

After you have done this, see what other problems you face.

it says, "unable to open file static\shapes.flx, in file FILE\FASTFLEX.C, line 38."

what does this mean?
