DOS Games Discussion

Hi everyone. After trying allot of things I managed to install the game Z (made by the Bitmap Brothers). Iam running a Windows XP OS, AMD 2800 1024 DDR. I have 2 problems. The first and most important one: When I want to start a new game a error pops up saying "Instruction not allowed". what is this and can it be helped? (i hope so otherwise i can't play the game) my second problem is the colors aren't good. I allready tried putting the colour settings to 16 BIT, but still no luck. If anyone can help me with this....

p.s I read somewhere on this forum that some of you got this game to work on winXP so please help

but how did you install it?

You could try using a DOS emulator..I used DOSBox to play Z demo, worked quite well. By the way - where did you get the game from? I have been looking for old cd's, websites, emule. I've looked everywhere, but had no success whatsoever.
