Problem with my autoexec file

Post by Dogbreath »

This technically isn't about DOS, but anyway...

My sister checked some games out from the library. These are old educational games made for Windows 95. Anyway, when I try to install them on my XP machine (either auto pop up or setup file on disk" I get an error report saying "C:\windows\system32\Autoexec.NT is not suitable for running DOS or windows applications."

1. What the hell can it run then?
2. How do I fix this?

Thanks for any replies! :)

this is what i have been rambling about

http://www.dosgames.com/~wally4000/autocon.zip

Put these in system 32 directory as autoexec.nt and config.nt are deleted for no reason what so ever
