actually i can't get any game to work. it tries to open all of the games with microsoft office imaging and it doesn't give me any choices of which program i should be running it with. How can i make games work?

It seems you have associated .exe files with MOI... Change that by going to

view-folder options, File types look for exe and reassociate it with application
