help with name of game!

hi,
i was wondering if anyone could help me figure out what game i am remembering....
when i was little i really liked a game but i can't remember much from it. i do know that it was either a DOS or Apple 2 adventure game, it took place in a haunted house. at some point you come across twin girls (ghosts) playing a game like patty cake or something, and a dog that could kill you, as well as a gravedigger with a lantern and shovel outside.
also you could collect money (dollar bills) for some reason.
i think the title screen had a picture of an old house....
i know this is really vague, but if someone could help it would be awesome.... thank you very much..

How about hugo's house of horrors? It sounds a bit like it...

also, i remebered that in the game you couldn't see your character, because it was 1st person "3D"...
so there is another hint... a piece to the puzzle

Nitemare 3d, the 4th game in the Hugo's House of Horros series.

i know what game he speaks of. it is *not* nitemare 3d. though it sounded familiar and i was very optimistic when you said it.
