What's everyone's favorite sonic game? I'm not sure about me but I'd have to say either 2 or 3 for genesis.

I like any that arent based on a race..

But the sonic team do trick you as it is more of an game where you unlock stuff

Sonic is okay.

The second one is by far the best. No attempts at a complicated storyline, just running around like a jackass chasing Dr. Robotnik. It's even better if you turn off Tails.

Sonic and Knuckles is my favorite too. Although overall this "run like mad and don't think" gameplay did not appeal to me.

When I first played Sonic, I didn't like it because the game moved too fast. However, the more I played it, the more I liked it.

My favourite is also Sonic and Knuckles. The main reason is that one could choose different characters likes Tails and Knuckles. Many years back, I bought the Sonic and Knuckles Collection CD-ROM

Sonic & Knuckles is the best one,like JKSM said you can chose more characters than sonic.
