death rally problem

Hi ı m from TURKEY and ıve a problem
I install death rally but it works too slow I m using winxp
İf ı chose sound card it says wait but doesn t work pls help

don't use winxp or use dosbox

The wait and doing nothing anymore is caused by wrong irq/dma/adress.
At the dosbox prompt type:
set <enter>
you should get :blabla...Blaster= A220 I7 D1 H5 T6...blabla
Those are the standard settings when dosbox installs,if there are not altered (check!).
In your drally folder run setup,choose soundblaster, A=0X220,Irq=7,DMA=1
Should get rid of your problem.

Dosbox default settings for soundbaster are :
IRQ= 7 , Adress= 220 , DMA= 1.
