I need help! can someone tell me how to set up ems in win98?

I got windows 98 SE and a IBM T20 with no EMS and this means i can't play my favourite old games like Ultima Underworld! I checked for my autoexec.com and i dont have one, probaly because i bought my laptop from my local pc shop as a refurbished computer and i dont know how to setup my computer so that it has the necessary files to play my favourite oldies! can someone please help me?

Right-click on the game's EXE file, click Properties, click the Memory tab, and set EMS to 4096 (or higher).

The properties say that Expanded (EMS) memory is not configured for MS-DOS sessions and it has a details button on it. When i click on the details button i get a message telling me that i have a memory manager on my pc! so i checked and now i know i got Qemm80 and i have no idea how to get rid of it so i can have my old ems back with windows.

QEMM is probably loading itself in your Config.Sys or Autoexec.BAT. Post the contents of these files, if you will, and we'll try to sort this out.
