Looking for a 3d scorched earth-esque game

The game is a lot like the old game Tank Wars which I've seen requested here also. It has earth bombs, napalm, neutron bombs and a variety of other weapons, which are acquired thru prestige points by winning battles in the campaign and purchased with money. You also have these nifty tesla coil type shields and armor plating.

The battles take place inside a 3d and maneuverable semisphere, whose terrain and border properties are configureable. I liked the music and the interface was nifty, with this covered red button to fire and the overall graphics. It also had funny things that people said when being destroyed and the like, including a few sounds like "Your shoelaces are united!" and "Armageddon..now!"

I can't for the life of me remember what it was called, perhaps '3d' or 'war' something but that could just be a few misplaced memories. I've been looking for this game for -years- but only recently decided I should take to forums and do some serious investigation. I used to play it when I was younger, though I can't recall exactly when..anywhere from 8-10 years ago I should think. I would be extremely grateful and happy if someone out there has also played this (whether or not you actually enjoyed it as much as I did ;D) and could let me know what it's called and perhaps where I can get a copy of the shareware. I've looked over many many websites to no avail.

By the way, I'm sure I played this as much as you did (probably more) back in the day. Then I left for college and my machine was scrapped. A few years later I realized how much I missed it, and went to download it again. But I completely forgot what it was called. I searched for a few days before finally asking my sister (who did a lot less drugs back in high school (i.e. still has something resembling a memory)) and she remembered. Good thing, too. I won't soon forget it, though.... It's got a special place in my head now.

Don't know why more people don't know about this one. Excellent gameplay. Very well executed. I once even considered sending the makers a couple bucks. Maybe I will. You should.

Could it also be 'Scorch 3D' or Worms 3D. Neither DOS games, but both are fun.
