X-COM UFO Defense problem

Ok, I am SOOOOOO mad right now.

I've been trying to get X-COM Ufo Defense to play on my computer for about a week now.

It runs beautifully. I have a Pentium II - 233Mhz machine set up, strictly with DOS. I have a Sound Blaster 16 ASP non PnP card with a Roland SCC-1 on there. The machine is specifically for games, and I only have Dos 6.22 installed on it.

The problem I'm having is that it still plays absoultely INSANELY fast... it's soo fast, it's totally ridiculous.

I have downloaded the following programs:

BREMZE (doesn't do ANYTHING at all, I don't even notice a difference)
MoSlo (Cannot use it because XCOM loads like 5 EXE files to play, plus DOS4GW.EXE)
SlowDown (Just freezes when I attempt to run slowdown)

I have no form of Windows on this machine, and therefore cannot use the windows ones. I want to play it in DOS.

Are there ANY slowdown utilities that you guys know of?

Any at all?

I'm soo G*D damn frustrated....

Thanks,

Todd

There is a simple solution but if you will like it?
Just slow your pc down in you bios settings.........
(cpu/mem waitstates/no bios caching/.......etc...)
B)

just think about it:moslo should run in dosmodus:

Mo'Slo Deluxe v.2.1
Copyright (c) David Perrell 1990,1993,1996,1997.
Format is:

MOSLO /n filename

where 'n' = % of normal speed (0.1 - 99.9) and 'filename'
is the name of the program or batch file you want to slow.
If the speed switch is omitted, Mo'Slo will attempt to
simulate 4.77MHz IBM PC/XT speed.

To enter pause mode, press Ctrl + Alt + Scroll Lock.
To change percent, press '-' to reduce, '=' to increase
(use the standard keys, not the numeric keypad).
To resume operation, press Ctrl + Alt + Scroll Lock again.

To load at normal speed, press Scroll Lock before execution,
then press Ctrl + Alt + Scroll Lock to begin slowdown.

you can make a batchfile to run with multiple *.exe's.

i run this game through DosBox and D-Fend, in Defend it gives you options to speed up or slow down the game or the mouse.

Strange. For me it runs well on XP, normal speed and good sound.
