Hi.
I've recently tried to run QFG 1 VGA version on XP and i used the enchanced sound blaster drivers for audio and for music i used General Midi. Now i ran it with VDM sound and it ran ok but every sound seem to loop and play forever until I quit the current room. Any advices how to get over this obstacle?

Try reducing the sound quality (if that option is available).

Or try a normal Sound Blaster or a Sound Blaster Clone driver.

I can't decrease sound quality and I got only Sound Blaster original and Sound Blaster enchanced to choose from. Neither of which worked. I got Sound Blaster Live maybe that will help.

Try to get the latest Windows XP driver for your sound card.

Well, it seems like i got the newest drivers. Strange that it seems that only I got such problems.
