CHAMP games [Atari Joystick problem]

hi new here but have avery good problem i have champ game mspacman i would like to use the joystick i have built the add and the joystick is seen by windows by the way im useing xp pro anyways im in need of help to get the atari joystick seen by this gameive even installed the ppjoysetup so windows sees it no how do i get this game to see the joystick any help out there? thanks
