An old game that I (of course) cannot remember the title to.

I`m looking for a quite old game that I played about 5-6 years ago. You controlled this guy with a brown jacket and pants and a white T-shirt (I think). As far as I can remember the game started out on a rooftop with a view of a futuristic city. You would then go down to a sort of small park or back-yard or something, where there was a young blond guy playing a gameboy or the like. Your character would tell him not to wear his thumbs out... There were also some other people there. The graphics were Monkey Island style, and the controls were a push/pull/walk/talk and so on menu, but that is all I can remember.. please help me!
