Im running XP with SP2
In doom i can run only with VDMS but when i get to any enemies or opening doors ect it slows down a lot.

i have shadow warrior but when i try to install it, it says install file not found on disk: swsw12.shr

where would i put the file in order for dosbox or the installer program to read the file?

in the same directory as the game..

If dosbox isnt reading it then the chances are that it is a read only error.

Check in properties for read only checked if that is checked uncheck
