Can't get DOS games to work

by !!!HELP ME!!!
Recently I have been getting back into DOS games. One day I was goingto play Hugo's House of Horrors but it gave me that annoying 16-bit MS DOS Subsystem message. Strange thing is that it was working fine last time i played it. I have Windows XP (As you might have guessed). So I decided to download this DOSBOX, but I can't seem to get it into the Program Files directory. It says cannot find C:\Program and cuts off. So then I went into this forum and read about going to properties. I have a problem with that too. When I right-click on the .exe file for the game (IT WILL DO THIS ON APPLICATIONS TOO) it boots me out of My Computer. NOTE: I MEAN THE HARDDRIVE NOT THE COMPUTER ITSELF.

Does anybody know if there is a patch or anything that I can do. PLESE HELP ME OR I MIGHT NEVER BE ABLE TO PLAY HUGO'S HOUSE OF HORRORS EVER AGAIN

P.S. Does anybody know where I can get the full version of Stonekeep?
I have the preview
