I was serching for an emulator of Sound Blaster but they tell me the following solution. A very good one so here:
For this solution u will need a big hard disk. Like about 40 Gibytes will be find.
If u r not a buisness man and u use your computer for a normal use (like hacking, games, internet and 2 or 3 schoolworks)then this solution will be perfect. The thing is to make a partision of ur hardisk. Obiusly make sure that u do it with a cool program like Partision Magic for avoiding the erasing of your data. Do a particion of 3 gb, and the rest will be for XP.
Now go to ur local pirate store and buy win95. I can be too win98 but i prefer 95. Install that operative system(from here OS) in the 3gb section. The OS
shuld be fill like 2 gb of memory so u hv 1 gb for all the DOS games.
Now create an starter disk for 95.
Each time u wanna play DOS games wihout a trouble of sound, errors, etc u will start win95 or 98.
This is a very good solution, at least i am very happy with it.
Yeah it could be a little complicating changing from OS to another OS
but im working on doing in a program that easily u can change wihout a trouble. Of course in DOS.
